AI Landscape Vienna 2024: EuroCC Austria as a Key Player in Vienna’s AI Scene

The non-profit think tank AI Austria has created a map summarising all AI players in Vienna, Austria. EuroCC Austria is ranked in the “Research” category alongside major institutions such as the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). We are proud to be part of the local AI ecosystem, supporting domestic startups with free access to expertise and supercomputing power.

Vienna’s AI community consists of over 200 companies and startups, more than 15 universities and research institutions, and over 50 other players. The growth rate of all Vienna-based startups is at 10%. This trend is further fuelled by strategic support for the AI scene: 70% of all AI start-ups in Vienna receive grants from various sources, including our partner INiTS: Vienna’s High-Tech Incubator, which is also featured on the AI Landscape Vienna 2024. EuroCC Austria helps SMEs and startups run their projects for free on Austrian and European supercomputers.
